Hi Reader, It’s been a while since I’ve hit your inbox, and I wanted to reconnect. Over the past year I’ve coached several leaders who are smart, capable, and hardworking — yet feel buried in emails, stuck in back-to-back meetings, and constantly putting out fires. They’re working harder than ever but still feel behind. For some, it’s even followed them home with their family and friends noticing the stress. I know this feeling all too well. I remember being this leader. I’d show up two hours early and stay late, trying to figure out why my team was struggling and what I could do about it. I worked all day, then stayed up until midnight, and still felt behind. Weekends blurred into work, and every time I thought I was ahead, another fire would start. One Christmas Eve, I even had to step away from dinner with my family to deal with yet another “fire” situation. I felt trapped in a never ending cycle. It was exhausting. That’s why I’m committing to helping leaders who are struggling with similar challenges. My mission is to help hundreds, maybe even thousands ( tens of thousands?) overwhelmed leaders stop firefighting and start leading with clarity — so you can take back your time, build a team you trust, and actually enjoy leading again. Over the next few months, I’ll be sharing short, practical leadership insights you can use right away. And early next year, I’m planning something special — a live 5-day experience designed to help leaders reset and regain control of their time and their team. More on that soon.
